The Space Elves (Eldarai)

The ancient empires of the Eldarai were shattered by both the ascendance of the Khan and the subsequent awakening of the Kesdakyr. Now what remains of this once truly vast and galaxy spanning empire is divided between those humble worlds that chose to bend the knee to the Great Khan, those that were scattered to the Deep Void and those that retreated to the Aether-Realm to fool-hardily plan their return. 

They were masters of both Biology and Cybernetics, raising themselves to ever greater heights of splendor via their gene-craft and mastery of the Sacred Spark. Yet for all their gifts, they were corrupt, and their corruption inevitably led to their great downfall before the endless and sacred Hordes of the Khanate.
